A 30-year-old woman from the UK claims she is in a relationship with a ghost she met in Australia and plans to have a “child” with. It all started 11 years ago.

Amethyst Realm from the UK is a 30-year-old spiritual guidance counselor. She claims to have dated 20 different boyfriends over the past 11 years. However, she recently encountered a ghost during a trip to Australia who she is convinced is her soul mate. “One day, while I was walking, enjoying nature, I suddenly felt this incredible energy. I knew a new lover had come”.

According to her, the ghost can communicate and have sexual relations with it. Despite not being 100% sure if the ghost is male, she believes the connection is real. A specialist contacted by British journalists also found a possible explanation for the woman’s paranormal experience.

Christopher French, professor of psychology at Goldsmiths College and co-author of a book dealing with paranormal experiences and beliefs, says the woman is not suffering from any mental disorder. He attributes the woman’s experience to the phenomenon of sleep paralysis. French says that people who experience this phenomenon have the feeling that there is a paranormal presence with them as if someone is in the same room with them.
